Our History

From humble beginnings over 25 years ago Glen Banks founded Banks Engineering. Out the back of his land cruiser he worked providing engineering services to Kapiti. It wasn’t until about 10 years later he discovered his passion for cranes, from there business flourished and we began transitioning into the crane company we are today. With a fleet of over 30 vehicles and a ever growing team of qualified operators. Banks Engineering and Crane Hire has come a very long way.
