WELLINGTON TO
MANAWATŪ
AND BEYOND.
Banks Crane and Transport has been providing crane hire, HIAB crane truck and transport services since 1996.
We support projects throughout Wellington, Kāpiti Coast, Porirua, Hutt Valley, Palmerston North, Manawatū and the wider lower North Island.
From straightforward lifts through to complex lifting, transport and placement jobs, our focus is simple: understand the job, find the right solution and get it done properly.
LOCAL BUSINESS.
SERIOUS CAPABILITY.
Banks Crane and Transport has grown from a local crane hire business into a wider lifting and transport operation serving Wellington, Kāpiti, Palmerston North, Manawatū and the wider lower North Island.
Our fleet includes mobile cranes, HIAB crane trucks, pick-and-carry cranes, telehandlers, spider cranes and specialist transport equipment. That allows us to handle everything from smaller restricted-access jobs through to structural steel, precast concrete, cabins and portable buildings, rooftop equipment and larger construction lifts.
The fleet has grown and the equipment has changed, but the approach remains straightforward. Customers come to us with something that needs lifting, moving or delivering, and our job is to work out the safest and most practical way to make it happen.

YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW
WHAT MACHINE YOU NEED.
A lot of lifting jobs start with a problem, not an equipment list. You might know what needs moving and where it needs to go, but not whether the answer is a crane, HIAB, telehandler, spider crane or another setup.
That's fine. Tell us what you're trying to achieve and our team can help work out the right lifting and transport solution.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOB →Tell us what needs lifting, moving or delivering and send through photos if you have them.
Our team considers the load, access, site conditions, transport requirements and the equipment needed.
From collection and transport through to lifting and final placement, we can help organise the complete job.
CRANE, HIAB AND
