How much does mobile crane hire cost?

What size crane do I need?

Weight alone is not enough to select a crane. The distance from the crane to the load, lifting height, access, setup space and site conditions also matter. A crane’s nominal tonne class does not mean it can lift that weight at every reach. Our team assesses the job against the appropriate machine information and load chart.

Do you supply a crane operator?

Banks provides crane hire with experienced operators. Tell us about any additional lifting personnel, rigging or site coordination your job requires so the scope can be agreed before the lift.

Can you work on a tight or difficult-access site?

We have city cranes, a spider crane and a mini crawler alongside our larger mobile cranes. Send photographs and access measurements where available. We can discuss which options may suit the site; suitability depends on the full lifting requirements.

Can you organise transport as well as crane hire?

Yes. Banks can discuss collection, transport and lifting together, with temporary yard storage by arrangement. Our HIAB and transport services may suit jobs that combine moving a load with lifting and placement.

How far ahead should I book, and can you do night work?

Contact us as soon as you know your likely date, especially for larger lifts or work with a fixed shutdown window. For short-notice or night work, call to discuss availability and site requirements. Equipment and booking times are confirmed by our team.
