Yes, when the load and both sites suit the truck’s lifting and transport capabilities. A HIAB combines a truck-mounted crane with transport, allowing one vehicle to collect, carry and place suitable loads. We assess the weight, dimensions, lifting distance and site access before confirming the setup.
How much can a HIAB lift, and how far can it reach?
Capacity depends on the crane, the distance from the truck to the load and the setup. A maximum capacity figure does not apply at every reach. Send us your load weight and the required lifting distance; our team will check the appropriate equipment and lift chart.
Can you move cabins, containers and machinery?
Yes. Banks provides lifting and transport for cabins, containers, machinery and site equipment, subject to the load and access requirements. Share the overall dimensions, weight if known, pickup and delivery locations, and photos of both sites so we can assess your move.
What affects the cost of HIAB hire and transport?
The truck and crane required, travel between locations, time on site, loading and unloading, access and any additional planning all affect the quote. Send the job details for a price based on your move. If you do not know the weight or measurements yet, tell us what information you have.
What if the job needs a mobile crane as well?
